Views best at 1024x768 on my screen.Tried rendering this at 1600x1200 but says not enough physical memory.Any tips? Vangough

I agree that it would most likely have to do with your render settings. Or that you have something else running on the PC, taking up some of your resources.
When this happens to me, I will close Apo and reopen it, to find that the memory has increased. Most times, decreasing the oversample setting can remedy the lack of physical memory. I use a setting of 1 or 2.
Your image seems quite dark, and I find it difficult to see the details of the flame. If you increased the image prior to uploading here, this may be the reason.

Deep, dark and eerie...I like it!!
When I render I render in PNG format at 3200x2400 with the following settings...
Rendering Quality = 2000, Filter Radius = 0.4, Oversample = 1
Hope that helps some. Very dependant on what you have under the hood of your PC. I run Win XP SP 2, AMD Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHz with 1 GB RAM.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .

Every once in a while I have that problem & I usually save the parameters & either render it the smaller size or come back later & try again.
