Appears to be improved (don't be testing my short term memory too too much ... it ain't all there. :oP)

The lighting is more pronounced (which as you are aware, I really enjoyed in your image here) ... so ...

Neat lighting workin' throughout!!

Perhaps a lower angle on the take or get closer?? When you think you're too close...get a little closer!! Luv the colors gentle rockin' in this fine flora!!

I missed the original posting, but whatever you did I'm enjoying the lighting on the crocus. Great textures too. I agree with Randy ... perhaps a bit closer. A beautiful spring posting. Faves!

Doug, I love the color play and lighting in this one. I'm sorry I missed the first one, got lazy and put off commenting. :(
I rather like the background in this also as it offers up some very nice contrasts of the flowers and ground backdrop.
