Spotted your picture in the voting booth had to check it out, for me this is what HDR is about, the process has evened the tones and exposure across the shot and brought out the detail particularly like the wood grain on the boards. Well done.

The big version works pretty well, but if you look at the thumbnail, it's all flat. I played a bit with contrast and levels, but the overall flatness is too dominant here.
