At the moment I just did not care about the overcast skies I had to deal with.This new lens just makes taking pics a pleasure! Can ya tell I'm excited???? Sorry but this lens just smokes everything else I have and has become my all around taker. I can focus as little as 11 inches away and can take portraits as well. Clarity,color and able to do low lighting,what more could ya ask for? Thanks Nikon

This is just breathtaking Doug!!! The clarity is so precise and the colors gorgeous! Maybe just a tad too sharp, but I still love it!

The sharpness of that lens is quite evident. I think Canon makes one of the same focal length, but it too is very expensive.
