Sorry but our Government could wipe out the deficit within two years with our given plant and pay back all foreign countries with the money we owe within ten years. Endless jobs could be created and with research development we could cure so many illnesses. So sad but a Blockade has been handed to us all to be stupid like cattle and just go along with it! This is not a drug , but a bit of help that we just cant seem to grasp. I smoked Weed for 18 yrs. almost everyday and one day decided to quit and had no withdraws whatsoever so bite me to all of you that think otherwise. Wake up and smell a rose......Enjoy

The risk Doug is that the user may go on to stronger stuff. You didn't but many do.

Doug, I used to smoke it too, but don't anymore, as far as getting on the stronger stuff, each of us is different, and some just have addictive tendencies. I quit with no withdrawals (mainly something I did when in high school, and would only take a hit once in a great while later on in life) and to me drinking, brings worse consequences than a joint. BTW: I like this post! :)

About going on to stronger stuff..I agree with Tig and always told my kids I'd rather they smoke a joint than drink alcohol. You make your own decisions in life, not the drug of your choice. Pot does not lead to harder drugs as that is a choice you make. It's 2014, are we not a bit more educated?
