the grass was meant to be in the front of the mushroom and surrounding it.

The picture is interesting. But I find that my eyes are confused and a bit strained trying to make sense of all the different elements. If you could simplify the picture, it would be even better. Very nicely done, however.

I kinda like the idea behind this, but have to echo the first comments. The grass in front of the shroom make this confusing to the eye.
It's a nice idea to surround the shroom with grass, but still keeping in mind the first rule of all photography: keep the target in the clear.

The mushroom can't be seen so well, because of the grass in front of it and I wonder what you have done with the sky?
