A wonderfully masterful image, Meriç. Such a great display of color, clarity and eye appeal.

Nice one. :o)

The colour contrasts really pop in your photo here, given the dark background.

Caveats?

Focus/clarity is a lil' soft. Just a little. (Might be the DOF employed, in which case ... suggest wider/deeper.)

Perhaps, some sharpening could be performed? Image quality looks like it easily stand up to some sharpening. With no ill effects after the fact.

Either Unsharp Mask ... or try the High Pass Sharpening method.

Here is some information/tutorial(s) on sharpening:

"High Pass Sharpening"

"Guide to Image Sharpening"

(Have to forgive me, as I cannot recall which image editing program/software you have at your disposal. I am assuming that you did some editing on your image here ... re: 'cutting out' the flower/background.)

That said..

Nice to see some colour. And it is a nice shot. Thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

Thank you very much your comments. I considered your suggestions exactly. You're right, I did some editing operation at this photo and I occured to apply Unsharp Mask but I like this softness. But your opinion is very valued for me. Thank you again.

Very fine post, Meriç. I mostly agree with Les. Sharpening might be good and needed, but if you had made background 'blackening' with smooth edges, maybe it would be better and more sharpening might not be needed. Very nice flower photo, especially great composition. Is this taken by your brandnew Nikon?

Thnak you for fast comment. You're right again. :) My editing operation would be better but I'm not good enough at this editing operation, now. Actually, I don't like very much edit operations :) but I didn't dark to the background because of lightness and I did with computer.

elektronist, you knew the correct about my camera. I took this photo with my new Nikon D5000 camera. Actually, this photo my first close-up photo with this camera.

Meriç.
