I am posting two photos. This is the first one and it shows the back of our home, the yard, where the creek runs thru and the little bridge goes across it to the pasture.I'm posting this so you can see the huge difference, one with snow and one with flooding. You can't even see the water in this photo. The creek is about four to five feet deep. So now we have had huge winds and major flooding in the Pacific Northwest, so my next posting will show you how the creek looks today. This may not be desktop material, but in a way they are still interesting photos. Thanx for lookin'

I think I'd rather have the snow than all the rain and flooding. Lovely view.

Excellent Verena. I like the scenes snow creates, just not the cold that goes with it. You've captured a perfect winter scene here. Congratulations.

Hope you're all right out there with all the storming that's going on. Nice calm pic you have here, though...love that snow falling capture.

With the snow coming down it looks so soft and dreamy... hard to figure that nature can be so soft one day and so ragingly destructive the next...

This is very pretty!

Actually, should have my 1st winter here in Medina soon. So, I'm really looking forward to all of the snow.

Winter pictures with snow are actually one of my faves, and this one is very good.
