This is one of my recent canvas paintings. There is actually some real sand on the beach part. It's hard to take a decent photo of canvas paintings. I hope it looks good enough for you to enjoy it somewhat. Thanx so much for looking.

This is beautiful, Verena. I faved it with my other lighthouses. Isn't that nice how you painted the lighthouse in Ohio State colors? You must be a Buckeye at heart. LOL. Just a superb job with the brush.

That's what I like about paintings: they bring out emotion, images and illusions. It's not like a photo where all is clear. Your painting drags us into a world where much is left for the imagination. I could dream about stepping down that path and explore those dunes and lighthouse building. And hey, maybe I find you laying at the beach as well?
