This is the razor wire fence in front of a prison with an added weaving. I thought it would be appropriate for the current symmetry contest.

Lovely symmetry and very good idea Verena.
The using of b/w has given more value to the overall picture.

I know you regularly visit women in prison Verena (which I admire you for) and have shown pictures of "The Wire" before. All of these images have been very thought-provoking (I especially remember a wonderful image of a small bird on the wire) and this is no exception.I really like what you've done with this image and it deserves to do well.

Symmetrical, but it also calls up disjointed emotions... strange, hard thoughts about being held captive by high wire fences and barbed wire.
