This was last Winters scene of my little house in the countryside. I moved from there and I will miss it very much. Snow was still falling as it did for three weeks! Sometimes slow and sometimes a lot. I put birdseed out each day by my sheltered front door. It was wonderful to watch them thru the front windows. This house will be greatly missed by me. I hope you enjoy the photo as much as I did being there.(well, almost anyway lol) I decided on the black and white, felt it did the most good. Thanx for taking a look.

Memories Verena, Just fond memories. Think it was wise to capture it, giving you the opportunity to visualise those memories in a later stage of your life.
B&W is the proper choice for this scene. Wonderful post!
Best regards, Cornelius.

Hi Verena, seeing your (old) house I now understand what you're missing.
Great place, I thing the house will be missing you as well. With love, Evert

I still miss my house, and I haven't lived there for ten years. This looks so great in black and white. It really conveys the feeling of the cold weather. I like all the different trees and the split rail fence, and the glimpse of the house. Beautiful winter scene, Verena.

So beautiful Verena! I've had to move from places I've loved too, and it's very hard! I love the black and white, not only is it a great contrast, but because you miss it!
