Shadows float unseen
yet not unfelt
divine darkness
shrouded the night
orbed upon the earth
clouds enter the storm
upon ebony midnight
winds loudly curled
their might powers
into inky blackness
sky changed its image
as the moon rose
seeds of stars swept
pushing clouds aside
far above shadows rolled
over restless peoples hearts
time now unfeeling
spaces embracing
dark clouds appear again
shrouding the heavens
with silver mists
of silent tremblings
upon mossy pathways
of rampant solitude

Verena

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Verena, the low lay of the clouds are just temporary. They will move on and the sky will open allowing the sun and the moon visability to earth again.

I like your choice of technique. I am not sure what it is called, but I do like the effect the matting makes. Like pressing a thumb upon the scales, this mat reinforces the desire of control over the immediate environment.

I also liked your poem very much and sense that we are all going to be treated with more of your artistic combinations in the future. For which I say, hooray.

With the low laying clouds directly above the hill, it almost resembles a smoking volcano! Very dramatic scene and I especially like the effects that the texture does for the clouds! The effects and your beautiful poem boosts the image to a new level! Excellent work, Verena!
