I will have you in my dreams tonight
thousands of my thoughts will slumber
intoxicating me with whispers of you
.
At the close of my day I think of you
I seem to feel you near to my heart
as I await the dark of night to appear
.
Thoughts of you bring tranquil tears
that only remind me of happiness
of tenderness and hand-holding
.
I can feel the smile in your eyes
hear the laughter in your soft voice
and taste your honey sweetened kiss
.
In my dreams you sing me songs of love
dance with me under the magic stars
and hold me til the night meets the day
by Verena This is one of my oil paintings. It's done on black acrylic, which is actually a type of plexiglas. I hope you enjoy..I know it's a romantic poem, but it seemed to fit the painting. Please enjoy. And thanx so much for taking a look.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Excellent painting. It looks like you were inspired by "Viking Dawn" by Randy. At the time he posted his image you said you would have liked it in blue. Now here is your interpretation for us all to enjoy.

A most excellent painting, Verena! I'm enjoying your superb blend of colours and all the silhouettes against the night skies! The presence of the full moon and castle really sets the mood... very medieval looking! I also like the faint trail that wraps around the mountain and I believe your romantic poem speaks of the courtly love that was shared during the medieval times... so, a perfect match!
