I thought these Dogwood blooms were such a unique colour. I took the photo against a very white sky, these blooms were at the top of the little tree. So I decided to leave the background au natural, and just added a frame. I did a tiny touch up in Paint Shop to bring out the details more. I hope you'll enjoy this take on these Dogwood blooms, and feel free to give me a bit of critique or comment.

A perfect title for this beautiful piece, Verena. There's nothing in there that doesn't need to be, which all adds to the elegance.

Verena - The photo appears as though we are looking at backlit dogwoods through a lightly frosted glass. Very cool. Thad

This is excellent, Verena. I wouldn't have guessed that the white background was the sky, and not one of your creative works. The flowers looks great with that treatment, and in the frame it all comes together as a work of art. Gorgeous.

Very nice photo and the slight darkness in the flowers realy lend it to the white background. Very nice.

Lovely tones and details. The white seems to bring out the details and creamy colors of the Dogwood. I like the treatment and creative effects. A pleasure, I didn't get to see many this year with the late spring we've had.

I absolutely love it! With no other colours in the background, these beauties have no competition and delight all on their own! I especially love the earth tones with just a touch of pink! Outstanding capture and post work, Verena! Faved + saved to enjoy longer :)
