I haven't done a flower picture in a while. This is a hibiscus that I bought a few months back. It was a great subject for me.

OOOH that right there would make wonderful wallpaper! I love the bright, outrageous pink!

Magnificent detail. The textures of the petals and the stamen are superbly caught by your eye. Another great contribution to Caedes from you.

Very interesting shot. It will, indeed, make a lovely desktop. Thanks.

Great macro! The hibiscus was indeed a superb subject and you a clever photographer for capturing the tiniest details. Lovely color and focus. Very much appreciated - thank you!

Great macro Rob of a beautiful flower. We have them in our backyard with white, pink and wine colored blossoms the size of dinner plates. They are a pleasure to behold ... until they drop the blossoms in short order making for quite a mess. :o)

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Yes, unfortunately, you're absolutely right John. The blooms on this plant only last one day, which is incredible because they're huge (12 inch diameter.)
