You're excused, and you know me. I have enough hot air for..well, I am full of it ...lol...I love the color here and the shadows...for a presentation that doesn't acutally have a lot of visible light shedding on it, you can tell that it's picking up a lot of illumination by the depth of the shadow, and to my way of thinking that adds to the composition and clarity...there...killled two birds with one stone :) Also as to clarity the light yellow stamen, filled to overload with pollen is equally important to point up this facet of the presentation, and of course the lovely muted dark green of the canvass you've put it on is in lovely contrast to the delicate colorations of your entire composition. Very nice job..thanks :)PJ
Just my luck ... following Pat above. Lord she covers everything so thoroughly and so well. Guess I'll just say this has a magnificient softness to in the blossom here. So much so that I'm afraid to breath heavy upon the screen for fear of damaging it ... because you have captured that delicateness so well.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
The virtue of the camera is not the power it has to transform the photographer into an artist, but the impulse it gives him to keep on looking. - Brooks Anderson
Very nice. Your title says it all. The flower which I believe is a Rose of Sharon (hibiscus syriacus) looks so light and delicate it could almost float away on the breeze. The color is lovely against the dark background.
