Some of the ducks are in breeding color again, the molt is over. I was hoping to get a sharper image of the water rolling off of his back. I'll keep trying undoubtedly until I get what I want but this isn't too far off.
"No method or discipline can supersede the necessity of being forever on the alert. We are able to apprehend what is sublime and noble only by the perpetual instilling and drenching of the reality that surrounds us." -- Thoreau
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
At last, I now know the true meaning when people say, "it rolls off me like water off a duck's back". I have a vibrant image of what that looks like now, and I'll never hear that phrase again without thinking of this post and thanking you for making it so crystal clear. I don't know how far you want to push the envelope when it comes to perfection, but you can stop right here for me. The color is so great you can even see his webbed orange feet under the water. You do yourself a disservice, Rob. So I'll let your comments roll off me just like water off a duck's back :)PJ
