I had mostly missed the sunrise that morning before the clouds moved in. I took a few shots, did some macros of some flowers and when I turned around to go back to the car, this scene met my eyes. Needless to say I squeezed a few more off.

Very pretty pastels in the sky here, and taken so well. I always cringe a little to look at a sunrise/sets because I'm always worried that the sun aspect will be overcooked, but not so here. All the darkness surrounding the rays of the sun set a perfect backdrop for this delicate scattering of color :)PJ
