Sailboats return to harbor at the end of the day. Magic Island, Honolulu, HI. Taken at 6:30 PM, August 2009 right before the sun set behind me, with a Canon 5D and Sigma 12-24mm Lens

I wonder if its the sun's setting that is making all the boats and building that bright orange colour. Its a very dramatic photo. I like the movement of the water. Am wondering if you took the photo from a boat or from the beach. Nice job. Verena

Great image quality and focus. I love the contrast between the warm & cool colors.
I have one critique, though, regarding the cropping. To me, the image seems to be composed of two photographs; one of boats and one of a city skyline. I have four suggestions for cropping
1. Crop out the boat on the far right and either the sky or the water (examples: One & Two)
2. Crop out a good portion of the city to the left and the sky/water so you have a view of the three boats on the right (examples: One & Two)
