Fabulous! I guess this has special appeal for me. I just patched and embroidered a pair of old jeans to mend holes and cover stains. Looks like this might be a more elaborate project, though - looks as though two sorts of denim might be being joined here, though it is hard to tell. Maybe these jeans are beyond mending with the salvaged parts destined for the gallery wall?

I like the way you've got the grains of the appliqué pieces running differently from the ground and each other. Looks like there's some white fabric paint here, too, and cording stitched for arms etc. Great job!

I have no idea how to do this virtually, of course, but I can see how most of it might be done in fabric - makes me wonder whether you also do artwork with textiles. (Not, to be clear, that I do that - I just know how to sew. And only by hand, at that.)

I tell you, I would be happy and proud wearing jeans with such great artwork on them. I know this is "only" a photoshop work, but it looks good and the motive is very cute.

It's amazing to me that you keep coming up with new themes all the time. I'd love to see how that brain of yours works. It must be on "ON" mode all the time. Excellent :)

I said it once, but now after looking at your other work and your website: you could create the most excellent children's books. Your work is happy and magical and delightful! It would so hard for me to pick a favorite piece!
