makes me feel as if I am one of those kids shrunked in the movie "Honey, I shrunked the kids", looking upwards at the jungle which is the backyard...You know, the the grass and such...
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
The overall softness of this entry is appealing but I think you can tell by the remarks above that people are having trouble deciding how to see it. It isn't truely abstract so it tends to make a person want to resolve the image into something recognizable. For instance, am I looking through something to what could be the white collar of someone's shirt? Is that an aloe plant in front? Ultimately I think... it doesn't matter. But you want it to matter. If you love working with soft focus, you should keep on practicing. By the way, a lot of people love the bright and busy entries but there are sometimes when people want something soft and subtle so don't be discouraged.
I actually like this. Subtle and leaves it to the imagination a bit. For me, I see a reflection in a glass of milk...of some type flower or plant. I like!
