Nice photo, but I think the main subject is sort of lost against the bright, contrasty background, even though that background is thrown way out of focus.

Actually, I like your DOF...sailorman has his points, and I agree for the most part, but after taking some time to really look hard at your focus, it comes across very well. Subtle, but very nicely done.

A fine little bloom holding its own, and producing some lovely buds and petals. I like the out of focus background with the muted colours - it helps bring out the softness of this scene. Appreciate your sharing :^>

Very suttle shot, soft flower, with an defused background. Works for me. very nicely done

I was asked to comment, so I'll be honest and say I don't think this is a very good photo, mainly due to the bluriness of the main subject.

I like it....I like the white on white, because the background (white) is soften and muted it has a "fresh" look-- GOOD ONE!_____ALLEE:)
