This is the image which was the first time I ever used the pen tool. In all my confusion and just messing around, this is what I came up with. It's my happy little accident.

For some reason, I rather like this. (I say it this way because I don't tend to be very keen on this style of image generally.) It helps that it isn't _very_ gold and, especially, the metalwork done with the pen tool (I think) isn't deeply gold. But that's not really it. I just like the shape and simplicity of the main design. The one thing I'd maybe prefer changed would be the lines that form a sort of hat shape at the top above the sphere/globe. I find those a bit distracting. Probably just me though and otherwise I like this anyway.

This is gorgeous. It seems to me, at least in my case I don't know about everyone else, that the "accidents" always come out the best.
