The young leave the nest within a day after hatching. They follow the parents around learning how to find food as this little one is doing. This photo was taken at Kensington Metropark in Milford Michigan. Some of these birds are not afraid of people which makes it easier for us camera buffs to get a close-up. Thank you, sweethearts. You're beautiful.

A little blur in the one on the right but a cute and unique shot...nice work.

Good shot even with the blurred crane on the right, love that little one - they sure are so small against their parents.
