Agreed, great image. A lot of people here try to do this kind of shot, a cathedral from the bottom, but it usually doesn't do it justice. Your capture of Notre Dame is excellent. However, I don't love the black strips bordering the image. Still, great job. Thank you! :D

Hello Håkan. I like this image, I guess because of the angle and the subject. I think you have complimented the cathedral with a sense of greatness and majesty. As for the black borders I have to disagree with Sasha. I also use them and a lot of people don't understand that most good photographers crop-in-camera, especially when shooting 35mm. (I suppose that is the format you are using). Either way, to crop it to fit the std. sizes that are opted to us, would steal from the images impact. Well done and a 10 from me and in my favorites.

Sorry to repeat what everyone else is saying, but the angle of this shot is phenomenal! Also, I like the framing, kind of off set, makes it more imposing I think.
