This little fellow was just sitting in my front yard. It let me get extremely close to it too. I assume that it wasn't able to fly at the moment.

I agree, it's a really interesting shot. I'd love to see the original image too. While the sepia tones give it a neat effect, they seem a bit too yellowish. Amazing that the birdie didn't spook getting so close ;).
