[edited] This is a shot I took while I was on the Balboa pier in SoCal. If I was skilled enough to, I would edit out the trashcan.

if you have Photoshop CS2 or later, it's vanishing point tool will take care of that for you no problem with very little effort.

I like this, but I feel that the sky and water are overexposed, while the bench is underexposed.

I agree with Tim on this one. Also, maybe try cropping the image to exclude the trash can (and the slight lens flare at the top of the picture). You could also try a b&w or sepia effect to see how that makes it look. :)

Yeah I kinda agree with Tim on this one. Its mostly the sun for me though.

I apologize, but I must also agree with the others. However, on the positive side, I think this is an excellent composition. It shows that you have a very good eye for framing and subject matter. You only need experience with Photoshop or another editing tool. Great shot.

Beautiful! It needs a little more contrast, but the trashcan is no problem. It looks natural.
