I like your take on this One.
Looks like a Fine Watercoloring.
Thanks for sharing.

The wispy clouds make a nice background for this majestic mountain. The sunlight at the top also enhances the wow effect.

Our too-young and too-new America, lusty because it is lonely, aggressive because it is afraid, insists upon seeing the world in terms of good and bad, high and low, the white and the black; our America is frightened of fact, of history, of processes, of necessity. It hugs the easy way of damning those whom it cannot understand, of excluding those who look different, and it salves its conscience with a self-draped cloak of righteousness. Am I damning my country? No; for I, too, share these faults of character. And I really do not think that America, adolescent and cocksure, a stranger to suffering and travail, an enemy of passion and sacrifice, is ready to probe into its most fundamental beliefs. -Richard Wright; Black Boy

Just love that light that the sun throws off as its setting, great capture great view well done.

Level those trees off and it would finish it off.

Hi Wayne,
It's a majestic mountain and some beautiful soft sunset hues. I think you get much more impact from the mountain itself with some judicious cropping, top, left and bottom. Sounds like a lot but it gives the mountain more prominence, doesn't affect the sky, and gives you a greater comparison between the valley homes/village, and the immensity of the mountain.

Mt Rainier is such a beauty! Especially when the sun shines upon it's snow. You caught it nicely along with the soft pastel look. I live near Portland, Or. So here we have Mt Hood. Thanx for a awesome photo. Verena

Have to agree with EJ, this does look like a fabulous painting and the colours are outstanding. My poppa was born in Washington state near Mt. Rainier
