I've been taking photos of fall images in the neighborhood and this is another one I'd like to share. It's on a tree right next door!

Love the title Hilda. This is stunning and the compositon, clarity and lighting are all perfection, not to mention to array of fall colors. What a pleasure this is to look at. Thanks for sharing it.

This one's a keeper! Perfectly composed with the best lighting to enhance the wonderful fall colors. Love that title too! I hope I get to give this a 10 in the voting booth. It's going right into my favs! Well done Hilda!

Well, Hilda, it already has a place of honor on my desktop. I see we both share the love of a closeup of rough bark on a tree and appreciate that it is the right canvass to set off colors seen vividly in leaves and vines that wind so delicately around a trunk. I'm glad you didn't make this into a macro, although that wouldn't have been a bad idea for a smaller aspect...but as it is because it's so distinctive, it presents itself in perfect composition and clarity and the colors are gleamingly rich and beautifully highlighted by the feather touch of the sunlight peeking in and around, playing hide and seek with the shadows. Well done :)PJ

I don't know what kind of votes this is actually receiving, but I must thank those of you who have said you would give this a 10. To get a 10 on Caedes is a very high honor, indeed! I'm thrilled you like it! Just the boost this newbie needs!

Superb, Hilda! It almost looks like pointsettia because the reds and greens are so deep. wonderful shot.

Where I'm from, we call this vine "Virginia Creeper." I really like the contrast between the leaves and the bark.
