A follow-up to It's Cold! Same morning a few moments apart. We really didn't linger there because of the cold. I wasn't sure you'd know what this was without seeing the other one first, but the white ones are the frosted geese.

It looks very much like a painting. I love the view we have of so many of these birds. Nice going, Hilda!

Looks like geese from a sci-fi movie. What a great effect that fog is. Wonderful picture.

I still think that the geese look like they're on a cloud! I love these photos Hilda! Excellent find and photo!

I just love the color shimmer in the mist! And I'm also glad you get up so early in the morning and tramp through the cold to take and post such pictures.

Oh Hilda aren't you being a little insensitive here.
Spend a few days in a industrial freezer then you can see how nice it is. ;o)

I just hate dirty cutlery !! A mistreated dog should try to leave a deposit on their masters best carpet, after all it's important to establish who's boss ... My gallery is here.

Unbelievable, and you're right about showing the hoar-frosted geese first! This is just wild, definitely not your typical "geese in the water" shot!

These ones look more like they're in a hot tub. I hope so, they deserve it after getting frosted like that!

This shot is really fascinating. What you don't see is as interesting as what you do see. Nicely done, Hilda. I'm glad you decided to take these even though it was cold and foggy.

...for a minute it looked like those ducks were steaming in a hot pot. I am just joking since I'm a bit of a prankster. Nice shot Hilda!
