We lost our huge 100 year old shade tree this year - it was so sad. But the consolation is that we have flowers now so this is my first lily grown in my own yard! My husband gets all the credit - he made the gardens, I just take pictures!

That is simply incredible. If I had any complaint it would be that I find the border distracting. This post needs nothing added...it is just beautiful!! Good post.

Actually, I like the OOBs border...I think it adds to the beauty of the upload.

Isn't it nice when the sun shines in your yard?

Lovely job, my friend.

Boy, the sun really lit this one up. Not sure it needs the inner framing to boost the beauty of the image, but it's very skillfully done.

This is a beautiful shot of a day lily. I have some in my garden too but because they only last a day they always seen to wilt before i get a good chance to snap them. I love the framing around it. You have such a good eye for improving your images like this without taking away any of thier beauty. It really focuses the eye. Wonderful work :)

Fantastical flora and sensational glow about it!! I'm not sure of the frame works...I kinda like it and kinda don't, perhaps a wee more of the latter as the glorious image would stand grand on it's own. Sensuous colorings!!

What incredible shadows on this flower! You caught the sun just right. I love inner frames in general, especially when there is a lot of dark and blurry territory in the picture. If I have any caveat about this one, I'd say it was just a bit small...but any bigger and you wouldn't have had the fun of draping the petals over it!

That's some consolation Hilda although the loss of the tree is very sad. Congrats to Steve for the garden and you for the arrangement. The colour's poppin' in this.
