Since I got a lot of comments about this lily and the framing I did here I thought I would try another version. I had already done the work selecting the lily for the out of bounds effect on the first one. Let me know which you prefer if you'd like.

I know you'll get many opinions, but I prefer the OOB version. It has something extra that sets it off. The shot is beautiful to start, so either version is quite fine.

Just as beautiful. I couldnt pick between them when it comes to image quality but i really like the first one because it was original. The framing was imaginative and as a person who usualy doesnt like anything else in the frame of the image except her subject i surprised myself at how taken i was with it. I think its really difficult to digitally enhace a photo which is pretty perfect anyway but you certainly did it with the framing. Excellent work on both counts. Still a fan of yours Hilda :)

I have to confess that I'm a BIG fan of the OOBs treatment. I liked the way it enhanced the flower.

You captured a good one, and I'm sure there will be mixed opinions, but the flower can't be denied.

This is great, but I am already on paper as really liking the framed version. Difficult choice, but I am sticking with my first statement... more to look at.

Hilda, I do like both very much. I will choose the first one just because it took more effort and was more creative.

I went back and looked at the other, and I think I do I like this one more than the other. The image is so beautiful, and the lighting just glows, the frame distracted a bit now that I compare the two. Nice shot, fav'd!

gorgeous... I loved the original framing but this is wonderful too! I'm sure you get mixed messages about the framing but I love them both. I think the original was definitely a winner and this is too! :-D Beautiful!

~ I like both for different reasons, lol. The first shows off well not only because of the flower, but your creative OOB. This one the attention is really only on the glow of the light on the lovely flower. Both are great Hilda!

Love the back lighting on this shot. For some reason back lighting does not get good marks on this site, but I think it makes for stunning shots. I prefer this one by the way.
