Challenging conditions, Hilda ... and you handled the technical side of things well.

Caveats?

Wellll.. perhaps an oopsies of sorts on your part?

Think a slight crop to remove that which is peeking in on the lower right bottom is in order?

That said..

I do enjoy this one.

Personally, I might be tempted to crop even just a tad more than that which is necessary to remove the lower brown thingy.

Something like ... this.

To my eyes, now that subtle curve and transition of colour in the water becomes more of a stronger supporting element. Setting up the overall composition a tad better. In my humble opinion, of course.

Just a thought, that's all.

That said..

Well done. And it is an intriguing image/photo.

And last, but certainly not least ... thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

Mysterious. Looks like you can't be sure of what lies beyond the mist. Like this. Very different and very cold too. lol

It has a desolate and misty aura to it... Maybe it's haunted by lost souls. Powerful...

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Only in my dreams have i ever seen such a place. I know they exist out there but Alaska is the other side of the world from little England and it seems as though i will never see its beauty and grandeur except when it is provided by you! However, i am yet a young 26 and havent given up hope!!!! Thankyou for renewing my determination! Hope you are having a good weekend.
