From my recent trip to Costa Rica. I know there are some issues with this photo, mainly it is a little blurry and the overexposure of the sky.

It's true that it has some flaws, but I like it very much. This capture of the monkey is awsome and the composition lovely. :)

I think on the whole you have caught this very well. There is a way you can improve this by adding all round filters. I would maybe add a little shadow and dim the highlights which could dim down the bright exposure of the sky. The shadow would give the picture more depth. I love the expression of the monkey and i think with the added enhancement, the monkey will shown off better. Good effort.

AKAJON: Most people lye asleep and notice nothing around them. Just wake up and see the natural beauty around you. It will blow you away.

Hi Jon:

By using JASC After Shot Software and increasing the Color Saturation just slightly and the Sharpness by one notch , the features on the monkeys face were increased considerably. The Color Saturation has the quality of graying or darkening the sky, while only affecting the monkey’s color slightly. ( increasing his redness) The Sharpness tends to bring out the facial characteristics a bit more without affecting the overall picture to any large extent. I’m sure any Software that can control the aforementioned characteristics would give similar results. What makes it difficult is that the monkey does not have much direct light on his face. Overall I like the picture. If the occasion ever arises again, if you could ask the monkey to move to the left just a tad, this problem would be solved. Keep up the good work. Take Care, BobZee
