For those of you who commented on the first one, thank you, no worries about commenting again! I just cropped it a bit more, the elk was too small relative to the photo in the last one. Back from another adventure, this time at Point Reyes National Seashore about 1 hr north of San Francisco. Yes there was some post processing on this, mainly contrast and vibrance, but I like the end result, but I may end up posting a rework which actually is more natural. Will see how this goes over first, let me know if have any opinions. And continue reading if you are interested in the area, Point Reyes. This is just an amazing and totally unique place for any nature enthusiast. It's on a piece of land that is sliding in the opposite direction from the coastline. Look at this and you'll see (if of course you are still interested in this): Google Map. The photo was taken at Tomales Point. The park consists of mountain ranges in the south, marsh land and estuaries in the middle, and grasslands in the north, and fantastic views anytime you reach a high point. I visited Tomales point today, which is at the very north end where this chunk of land is sliding into the ocean. This image is looking over Tomales Bay, the loooong skinny bay formed from this chunk of land moving up the coastline. Tule Elk were reintroced here a couple decades ago because they were all killed by the early settlers of the area, which was discovered by westerners by Sir Francis Drake, the name of the highway I returned on.
