Took time to climb all the way to near the top of St. Pauls Cathedral in London. Tried to avoid a view which included "The Gherkin" monstrosity. Didn't want to stretch this one because it looked odd { :-)

Very nice view of the city. It has been years since I have been to London, but I do believe some of the "new" things are not necessarily improvements.

Brilliant photo! I work near St Paul, a little further along Ludgate Hill. I love the view of the cathedral from the street. But this perspective is amazing. Top quality work. It appears perfectly asymetrical and the composition of the near, middle and background is tops. Super.

Never saw the structure from this vantage point...You always see it dead-on from the front...Nice capture!

Thanks for the comments, people - but don't encourage me! I have 1000's of images! [:-)
I had to work hard for this image, climbing all those steps. The weather was not very bright, as you can see. But there are excellent views from up there. The old trusty Kodak came in handy again.
