Man, high ferris wheels have always scared the daylights out of me, I'm not one for hieghts. I've always wondered what Blackpool looked like, though this only the pier, interesting none the less. Were you up in a tower or in a helicopter or plane when you took this? Anyway, it's neat to have such a wide view, all that beach. Nice capture!!......................Amaris

Super dazzling shot! I'm the opposite of Amaris, I like the high ferris wheels-nice view from them too. That's an extremely long pier-must be lots to see on it. The wide open view of the beach is excellent-love the never ending ocean. Thanks for a quick trip to the beach :*>

The thumbnail image above does not do it justice, it only becomes clear when you open it full size, great clarity, it makes a lovely look.
Seeing the increadible `HOT` tropical tempratures we are having here in Holland right now, i just want to make a dive to cool of, thanks for sharing yet again.

"Oh, I do like to be beside the seaside..."

Love Blackpool, love this picture. Every time I think of the place I hear that famous opening bar from the Tower Wurlitzer organ as it rises majestically and to the some viewers almost magically from the Tower Ballroom stage floor...

I like the innocence of this shot, it entices me to think of saucy postcards, fish and chips, and fun in the sun... You just know Punch and Judy are there somewhere don't you?
