Oh my Wil, this is beautiful. The color and composition are stunning and you've framed it really lovely. I bet it has a wonderful fragrance. We have liriope here in Texas as well but it's not nearly as beautiful. Thanks for sharing this today.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
What an absolutely delightful flower. I love the soft purple and pink :) The angles of the leaves are super, and accent the "roundness" of the individual units on the flower...I don't know if you can actually call them petals....now usually I'd clone out the brown areas on the leaves, but in this case, I think they actually add some color interest to the photo, and I want to commend you on this highly unusual border you've made. I love it..not only the style, but the gradiation of the color...in my faves..Great work :)PJ
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

Gosh! I think the capture of the leaves is better than the bloom. They are so brilliant and such a pretty green. I have no idea what that bloom is. I know that you captured it well.

Thanks for the beautiful comments on flower and the frame. I try simply of everything with the frame in Photoshop element. And this way I learn more and more. By of everything to try out get you always something else.

This is really splendid flower, but also the frame is beautiful. Have you seen that there also still small insects on the plants sit?

10/10 for framing! Great, clear capture of Liriope just starting to bloom. I have a "black" form, but flowers are the same colour! Try to capture the berries when they are ready - should be another great post. Thank you for sharing,
