The port of IJmuiden. Here all the ships sail in to the world of Amsterdam. After they have sailed by a large lock. In former days we came here much because my husband's family lived here and then we will eat fish in the port right as from the boat. Delicious fresh this was. There is here always live something.

I don't understand the c index rating here, but that happens often to me. I love this peaceful shot of the bright harbor and the birds. It's lovely and the frame is perfectly matched.

Thanks all for your fine response, I have already several times sailling on
these large ferry to United Kingdom. Then leaves the boat on 18.00 the harbor and speed the whole night, and arrives on 9.00 the next days in United Kingdom. But if storm you will not sit on the boat.
