I took this picture last December, it was a stormy day and at that moment dry. And the sun came exactly even by the clouds lucky for me!
The Lake of Gileppe is a lake reserve located into high Ardenne, with the gates of the plate High-Fagnes, a few kilometers to the East of the old wool city of Verviers (Belgium).
The damming of Gileppe was built since 1867, in order to, at the time, meet the needs for this flourishing industry in the area. The lake of Gileppe is thus one of the oldest artificial lakes of Europe. A panoramic, high tower, sheltering information on the site and a restaurant at its node, 78 m offers a unspoilable view on the lake and all the area.
