I have an artist friend who says that moving subjects ideally should be moving *into* the image not *out* of it. Applied here I guess that would involve moving the ferry further to the right in the picture. I'd probably shift it from being dead centre horizonally as well. Small compositionally details can make quite a difference to overall visual impact. The colours here seem a bit washed out as well, was it overcast? There's nothing wrong with this picture but nor is there anything that really grabs the attention either. Unless of course one was a boat buff.

The ferry has just taken a turn I see. Perhaps a shot while still turning would have been better. (Just my opinion)
