Hello, Alex,

I'll give you credit for having the cajones to call a posting "Perfection". I like the image quite a bit more than the 28 C-Index. Not sure how you created this image, but it's very interesting. Sort of looks like a flame with everything else removed. Interesting idea to have the background fade from dark to light. Never would have thought of that. As nearly as I can tell, the depth of field is a little off since the "flame" on the right seems a little unfocused. I*'d give this a solid 6.

Different but nice I agree on the blur but still a good image.

The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Alex - I agree with the blur on the right being a distraction. But, this does not diminish the creative elements of this work. Thad

Hi Guys,

Thanx for the great comments :)

This picture was done entirely in Bryce 5, and what you see is a steep crack in an outer wise white plane. This is actually 6 years old, so when rerendering for high res, the height-field started to show its age, therefore depth blur was added.

Thanx again :)

Cheers
