..To get that perfect shot. This was definitely a lighter side to mine and Reg's trip into the 9th Ward. I had turned my attention to something else for a moment. Then next thing I know, he was up in the tree. The photo here seemed fitting to me as a dedication of sorts; getting to see the photographer in action. Hope you all enjoy.

We will go as far as we can and then some to get that perfect shot and this image shows us that!! How fitting that this is posted the week that Reg is Artist of the Week! He is quite dedicated :))
I like the twigs and branches on the tree, the odd angle of the tower int he background and all the heavier destruction at the bottom. This gives the viewer an even better idea of the hell that New Orleans resident's lived/died and are going through....still. Kudos from me for this shot DJ !! :~)

Great shot of Reg 'on the job' as you and he go about visually telling the story of how things are down there still...I am glad you both decided to do this...as I was telling Reg one time, these shots have so much more impact than what you see on TV...bravo to both of you.:Pat.

So Regmar, what were you taking? I'd love to see the shot that you got from that risky vantage point. I can almost hear the creaking. Good catch of the moment Dj.

This is what I was taking

New Orleans Neighborhood

When DJ sneaked up on me. Being able to look down on the destruction was a huge advantage. If you think the perch is unstable, you should have seen what I had to do to get up there.

Oh...what a beautiful photo! The fact that it is black and white makes it more beautiful.
You are really a talent!
As I can see....you are very good at any tipe of images, either is a photo or any other image made with the help of the computer.
As always...I can't wait to see more of these :)
