nice colors

This has a completely different look against the black, your colors just seem to glow. I think I prefer this version. Though it's probably a matter of personel taste, though I've found that you have to more careful of your colors with a white BG, it seems to suck up all but the strongest colors, at least, to me. But I really like your flame, whichever BG you put on there !

Wow Carol both are fantastic... but both are very different because of the background, the black brings the colours out more, this is a perfect piece of work and I can tell your having a great time with apop... =D now i'll leave you with an aussie saying "Put another shrimp on the barbie!" but this one is way to pretty to eat.. LOL..

Very nice Carol, a little more detailed on the black...but, I think I like the white background a little better. How 'bout a white background but change the color of the flame? Hmmm...

I definitely prefer this one - but I tend to prefer darker backgrounds anyway. This one just seems to glow. Wonderfully sweeping curves, clear and very well-defined. I like the way this one seems to make the most of the available space.
