Again, I love the patterns in nature. Thought this was so cool - the contrast between the sharp thorns and the swirly pattern on the branch.

This is a very creative photo. The thorns look zebra-like, and the sharp contrast of the thorns in focus against the softer focused thorns gives the picture a unique punch. The lighting, positioning of the subject, et cetera, all add up to a well-developed image. My only concern would be that too much of the composition is out of focus. But it's your picture.

Amazing detail here, I also would like to see the other limbs a little more in focus, still a very unique and well done capture. Good work!

OUCH indeed! But a great picture.. i like the blurry background, give more focus to the brach in front. Makes it stand out more prominent, emphysising the detail on that brach more. Great work, zippee!
