Another picture of one of my favorite wild flowers . . . see "Queen Anne's Lace - closeup." The flowers in the background are Purple Loosestrife, a flower that can really take over from what I hear, but they are so beautiful in mass.

I like Queen Anne's Lace too. It is such a dainty looking flower. This shot is great, the Queen Anne's Lace is perfectly clear with the pretty blurred background, I also like the way you framed the shot. Diane

Hello Tracey.....Lovely sharp clear picture of the Queen Anne plant...It would have been nice to have concentrated on the plant on the right of the picture and by having the subject in the centre it would have made the picture more powerful and effective for showing off a striking shape, size or color of the plant....mind you Tracey this is just my opinion....Well done....All the best...Mick.

We call this plant 'Dead Mans Baccy' over in our locality!....This is because in the old ship faring days!.....tobacco was hard to obtain, especially at sea....and they made pipe tobacco from this!....Now that todays history lesson is over. I will comment on this wonderful image of yours......Nice and clear.. with the right amout of blurring to the depth of field, behind the main items!....I have to agree with Mick....If you had concentrated on the a single plant...this would have given you a ten anywhere!...still excellently done though!
