I considered taking this shot for a long time. Now that it is done, I'm not sure it makes the grade. Any comment, critique, or suggestion is welcome. If you were taking this shot, what would you do different? Time of day? Exposure? etc.? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Boy, I wouldn't change a thing. I like everything about this, especially the compostion and the golden light in the window. I'd like to see this too when there are clouds illuminated by a full moon too.

I would move the crop down a little so you do not cut off the bottom so much. The white spire is a good central focus and looks good against the dark sky. The lack of context almost makes if look like a rocket lifting up tot he skies. I think B&W might have worked too. You could lighten the clouds a little and perhaps increase the contrast on them too, to bring them out, but leave the building dark to remove the context of the spire as it is now.

I wouldn't have change anything. Think it's, from a photographic point of view, a wise decision to place the steeple somewhat off centre (both horizontal and vertical).
Looks simple but know it's complex to make such a capture, therefore a really meant 'Well done' DP!
