This is a blend of two shots. They were hiding behind the trees too well. The secondary shot was taken a step to the right of the first to get the doe's head out from behind that little tree.

You did a fantastic job of blending the two images DP! Excellent focus on the deer! I really like the blurred area on the right... kinda adds a mystical feel to the image, and the impression that you are deep in the forest. Very well done!

I must say, I can't tell that you made this from two shots. *grin*

It came out very well. The doe and fawn are well focused, which is something for taking snap shots of moving creatures.

I like that you kept the close up of the trees, it gives you a real feel of spying on them in the woods.

The colours came out very well also.

Wow, nice job here. well-stiched, soothing colors, and I like how you captured the wariness of the doe. And the fact that you can't see a part of her ear, and the fuzzy trees in the foreground - all adds up to make this shot feel very alive, as if I was there.
