This is Mei Shung, a giant panda, when he was about a year old. I took the photograph at the San Diego Zoo.

It is a lovely panda, but having the branches in front of its face is really distracting.

Nice panda shot. Were you zooming in from quite a distance or were you able to get fairly close? It could use a little more clarity, but shooting from far away is difficult, I know.

I took this with a completely manual film SLR, an Olympus OM-10, so it can be hard, especially with the zoom lens, to get the perfect focus on a moving animal.
