Hi Carolyn, I like your new username! It is cute! Thanks so much for your visit to "Cool Rose"! I always enjoy your thoughts and comments! Does your new name have anything to do with Easter? Just teasing, very appropriate though, to say the least! I will look forward to your next visit! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Carolyn: thanks for your nice comments on Emerald City and Me on Rainier. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I have quite a few posts depicting the beauty of Washington in my gallery. Cheers!
Hi Carolyn, many thanks for leaving me some positive feedback on my photo of Autumn in Hyde Park, London - I appreciate you taking the time to comment. :) Patti
Hello Carolyn. I saw your comments on my "The Oaks of St Joseph" and "When I'm Alone" photos, and I thought how nice it is to hear from another Louisiana native. We do have the photo opportunities here, do we not? You know where these trees are? I'm going back there at the end of this month for three days of silent meditation, and I can't wait. You can bet my camera's coming with me this time too. Best wishes my fellow Louisianian.
Welcome to caedes Carolyn. Wish to thank you so much for your nice feedback on evening shadows. Your kind words very appreciated. Your description couldn't be more apriopriate. That is exactly what I wanted to show on the photo. So glad you felt it the same way. Hope to hear from you one day.
Hello Carolyn....Thankyou for taking the time to have a look at (MINES) and for your kind comments .... I will spend hours waiting for the right light and I try to take my pictures early in the morning or late in the evening.....All the best...Mick.
Thank you for your critique on "Lucifer Rising"..."Lucifer" was actually the name they gave the newly formed star in the Arthur C.Clarke book version of "2010 - Odyssey Two" - Ron
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Hi Carolyn - thanks for your comments on my horse photo - it was a very misty morning and I was really pleased to get a photograph of the horse - he was a good model! ;)
Please forgive me: I want to thank everyone who views and comments my images, I try but it is hard to write individual thank you at times. Please know you are appreciated!
Hello Carolyn, thank you for those wonderful comments you left at “Mugshot Meerkat”. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I also appreciate your comments about my gallery :-)
Hello Carolyn, thank you for your visit to Desktop Joey and to Manx Tabby.
Yes they are my pets two out of three. I must work on another portrait of my other kitty.
Thank you for your lovely words.

Thank you for your kind comments on my images. I have only been doing photography for a couple of months at the most. My husband is teaching me. I am glad that you enjoy my images.
Thank you for viewing and commenting re JFK, Carolyn.
I was shooting newsfilm for CKLW-TV, in those days, and covering the Detroit-Windsor area.
I always carried a 35mm Leica around my neck, as well, for just such occasions, once I had my newsfilm shot.
I Had a bite of breakfst with him early thet same morning,at which, we shared a little joke, as there were no other prss present. That was the reason for the grin. He had asked about the Canadian perspective on the campaign, and I just said, it would be nice to see a full time resident in the Whitehouse, that didn't spend all his time on the golf course.
Always felt that the United States presence in the world would have benefitted greatly, with more men of integrity and vision
such as he had, regardless of his few personal indiscretions.
The people and the country, always came first.
Thanks again.
Doug.
Carolyn! Thank you for your sweet comment on "Yosemite Luxerious"! Really appreciate it! The photo has not enough contrast but it looks okay, glad you like it too! ;)
Carolyn,
Thanks for the kind words regarding Tie-Dye Sky. I appreciate your effort. Regarding the colors, I did tweak the saturation levels a bit. Thanks again.

Hi Carolyn, thanks for commenting on "Untitled" This image used to be a fractal, I might upload the original back on here, but I'm still undecided. Thanks again!

Hi Carolyn: thanks for visiting and saying hello. You're right - that is Mt. Rainier, viewed from nearby Mt. Adams. Thanks for your comments and advice. Cheers.
hey Carolyn.. how are things in your neck of the woods? thank you for stopping by Red Digital (A Self Portrait) & Perception.. im glad you enjoyed both of them.. take care..
Hello Carolyn. Many thanks for all those marvellous comments you left through my gallery.
I don’t post many sunset photos but I thought the colours in “Cain Point.” were sufficiently different to be a worthy. I’m a sucker for sunsets and sunrises :-)
I wanted to show off “Gidgit.” but I didn’t want just another pet photo.
I was simply at the right place at the right time with “Time To Scarper”
Like you I like Egrets. For “Ripples” I sat on the bank and waited for him to come to me, which took ages because he knew I was there.
Oh thank you so much for your wonderful review of my work on "Dracula". It's very much appreciated. Hope you had a wonderful day. Feel free to visit my gallery. Love your bunny icon. Have a great day! Sarah =^..^=
Hi Carolyn, nice to meet you and thank you so much for visiting Manipulating the Cat...I haven't had any comments on that one for a long time...very glad you liked it and I appreciate your nice comments...thanks again for stopping by.:Pat.
Hi Carolyn, thanks for your kind comments on "Cliffside View." Believe it or not, but I actually went to stand on the cliff. I'm not afraid of heights so it wasn't bad. A much better view though. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it very much.
Hello Carolyn. Thank you for your comments about “Backyard Beastie”. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a wasp as you suggest. That might explain why he wasn’t camera shy.
Hi Carolyn, thank you so much for taking some time to view my gallery...I am very pleased to know you enjoyed some of my images, in particular, Seattle, Washington 1911...the old photos and postcards are fascinating aren't they?...thanks again...I appreciate your time and nice comments.:Pat.

Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for looking at and commenting on"Whiteface Mountain" (located in the Adirondack Mountains of NY) and "Don't turn left" which was taken near Moab Utah. To take "Don't" we were on the switchback above the other vehicle, on our way down for an extended camping trip in the park. I don't know if you have seen my other posted shots, but there are others of AZ and UT.
Thanks again,
Olie
Hi Carolyn, many thanks to you for your kind words left at my doorstep of "Delicately Pastel'! I always appreciate your thoughts and comments and am so sorry to be late in responding! Computer problems and catching up are difficult for me, obviously! LOL! That of course never ever means that your attention give my work is less than very important! Thanks again! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hi Carolyn, here I am again and very happy to be here, and thanks to you! I am very glad you made a visit to "Genteel", and of course I appreciate it very much! Your continued support Carolyn means a great deal to me, and I will look forward to your next visit, as I would enjoy that! Sincerely, Marilyn
Hello, my, I just think I will pack my bags the next time I visit you, and stay overnight! Do you mind, just plan the lunch and I'll be there! I am here to thank you this time for your visit to "The Eve of Love"! I took that photo at midnight, and those night shots are always risky for me, because you know, the lighting is poor, but it turned out ok, I thought, and am glad you liked it! Please visit me again, as I would enjoy that, OK?! Sincerely, Marilyn
Thanks Carolyn for your 'beyond sweet' comment on Natures Landscaping! It is always so rewarding when someone appreciates or enjoys your own work so much. I hope you get to visit New Zealand someday, so you can see the Lupines for your own eyes ('cause my photo just doesn't quite capture it!).
Thanks again!
Cameron
It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments left at "Shelter from the storm". I took that shot right through the window and it came out much better than I had hoped for.
Howdy Carolyn,
Thanks for reviewing "3000 Feet Straight down." Toroweep is a stunning place to be. I posted another shot, not of Toroweep, with a grey background and it also got a thumbs down for the background. Now I will know better and be more selective when I size them to fit.
Thanks again,
Olie
And again,
"You can't see me" is a good (?) watch kitty - When anyone gets close and tries to pet her she attacks them tooth and nail. The rest of the time she is a devout coward and runs from everyone and every sound.
Olie
Hello, Carolyn - I was very flattered by your remarks on "Amish Haycutter" - this was a difficult image to capture, and the lad driving the hay rick was very amused at all the antics it took to get a suitable capture. I appreciate your having taken time to view and vote. If I may be of service to you, please let me know. Richard, aka der Rehjäger
Hello Carolyn, I'm so glad you liked the potted history given in English Heritage's link that was with my photo 'Rievaulx Abbey in the Spring Sunshine'. Especial thanks for your supportive and kind comments re. the photo itself. Means a lot to me that the photo gave you a 'feel good factor'. Appreciatively, A-M x
Thanks again, Carolyn both for saying you like Bill the Tortoise and for the kind compliment on my watercolouring efforts. Carolyn, if you can't draw a stick figure, I'll bet my bottom dollar you can bake, garden, encourage children or do something equally satisfying. Who wants a stick figure anyway!! Thanks again for commenting and also for voting. I really appreciate it.
